Don’t waste: recycle!

Do you think of your empty jars and bottles as a natural resource? They are if you recycle.

Of the 500kg of waste Europeans bin annually, less than half is recycled, according to Eurostat. We can definitely be more sustainable and recycle more.

The beauty of glass is, it is one of the few materials that can be recycled over and over again with no loss of quality. This means no waste as well as less raw materials, energy and pollution.

Glass has endless lives and it’s one of the most sustainable packaging options for a healthy lifestyle. Listen to Doc Brown and Britain’s Got Talent contestants The Bottle Boys and see what they have to say about the many lives of glass:

And don’t forget that the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2017 is taking place from 18 to 26 November, with over 13,000 actions around recycling and sustainable waste management happening all over Europe. You can still get involved!
