Of the 500kg of waste Europeans bin annually, less than half is recycled, according to Eurostat. We can definitely be more sustainable and recycle more.
The beauty of glass is, it is one of the few materials that can be recycled over and over again with no loss of quality. This means no waste as well as less raw materials, energy and pollution.
