Food and drink that have been packaged in glass retain the original flavour and scent – so what you see is what you get. But why talk about it when we can demonstrate it live? And that’s just what we did – cue, the glassware party!
Our Glassware Parties rolled out from autumn 2014 across Europe. These were fun events, hosted in main European cities, where chefs, nutritionists, and even celebrities, spent an afternoon with our blogger community to learn more about the benefits of glass packaging, especially in regards to the taste of food and drink, with an afternoon of cooking with glass.
By the end of the event, our Friends of Glass all had the same thing to say – glass packaging best preserves the taste of your food and drink, and doesn’t leach into or contaminate the contents within. So next time you’re at the supermarket, think about what difference would be made to your recipe with products in glass!
And when you do try out your recipe, be sure to share it with us on the Recipes in Glass Facebook App – an online, real time, glassware party in itself! And the most popular recipe by the end of the year will win a hamper full of delicious products in glass, to enjoy in the New Year.
